Cross-country skiing in Val Pusteria/Pustertal

Active winter holiday in Terento/Terenten

Cross-country fans find plenty of training opportunities in Val Pusteria/Pustertal. Directly in the village centre you find a 7 km long track and at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz valley station you find another loop track of 15 km. Every year in January, during the Biathlon World Cup in Anterselva/Antholz, the ultimate cross-country hotspot in the Upper Puster Valley, Nordic fans will get their full money’s worth. Anterselva/Antholz also features a cross-country and biathlon centre as well as about 30 well-groomed track kilometres for beginners and advanced. Beside cross-country skiing also snowshoeing and tobogganing are popular sports in the region. Come along on a snowshoe hike accompanied by a professional guide. Or hike from Terento/Terenten to the Pertinger Alm and ride down to the starting point of the natural toboggan run. Also the centre of Terento/Terenten offers a possibility for tobogganing. The toboggan run is not far from the ice skating rink.
